We propose mandatory youth representation in all 774 LGA advisory councils, ensuring young people have a voice in local governance decisions that directly affect their communities. This initiative would create 1,548 youth positions (2 per LGA) with advisory voting rights on local development projects.
A yearly platform where government leaders report progress on youth commitments directly to young citizens. This forum will rotate between geopolitical zones and include live streaming, social media integration, and direct youth questioning of officials.
Policy requirement for youth participation in all Community Development Committees (CDCs), ensuring youth perspectives inform project planning, implementation, and monitoring at the community level.
